On October 28, 2023, ‘Ken Trimmins and the Quiet Storm featuring Ms. Sherri Wilder’ performed at the United Negro College Fund Gala at the Macon Centreplex in Macon, GA. This event was sponsored by The Forrest B. Johnson and Associates Law Firm and, I believe, was the first of its kind to be held in Macon. The Quiet Storm performed a variety of functions at the event, including a VIP reception and music for dancing after dinner and speeches were over. What a night! Also featured with the group was saxophonist, Alphonso Thomas.
